Last week we had the honor of participating in the ELROB (European Land Robot Trial), showcasing our REX Mk II unmanned combat support system. ELROB is Europe's most established and rigorous trial for ground-based unmanned systems, making our participation a significant milestone for our joint venture.
Amidst intense competition and high-calibre participants, we are delighted to announce that our REX Mk II system has been awarded first place for the best scientific solution. The judging panel of scientists and soldiers was particularly impressed by our nnovative solutions in the area of jamming, mapping and of our user-friendly interface.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the organizers and helpers from Fraunhofer FKIE and the Bundeswehr (German Federal Armed Forces) who planned and supervised the ELROB at WTD41 in Trier. This year, 18 teams from all over the world competed to present their solutions in the field of autonomy and robotics. The challenging scenarios developed by the German Federal Armed Forces and Fraunhofer FKIE reflect the current demands of military operations. The event was attended by high-ranking military officers from various NATO members and Bundesamt für Ausrüstung, Informationstechnik u. Nutzung der Bundeswehr BAAINBw representatives.
We are incredibly proud of this achievement and are already looking forward to the next ELROB in two years to present our next wave of innovative solutions.
