Remote-Controlled Weapon System (RCWS)
Hunter Eye is a Remote-Controlled Weapon System (RCWS) - that enables an operator to remotely and accurately perform target acquisition, cueing, aiming and firing of heavy machine guns. Comprising an advanced, modular and fully integrated sensor suite, the system detects, tracks and effectively engages both ground and aerial targets and hostile fire sources, providing real-time situational awareness. Integrating a high-performance radar adds a significant advantage over legacy RCWS by adding stronger capabilities such as slew-to-cue, operating in all weather and day/night, quicker detection and classification and able to track multiple threats. Hunter Eye offers a dedicated mode to mitigate UASs including loitering munitions and drone formations. The system ensures the most efficient and rapid sensor-to-shooter capabilities across a wide area. the system can integrate other sensors and systems, such as FTS's Thunder Bullet – an optical and acoustic gunfire detection system. The modular components of the RCWS include the following:
